KIDS HOPE AUS is Australia’s largest early intervention, school-based mentoring program. It has been impacting the lives of children in Australian schools since 2004.
Caring relationships with mentors have a significant positive impact on children.
KIDS HOPE AUS mentored children consistently show increased self-esteem, confidence and resilience.
KIDS HOPE AUS connects a local church with a local Primary School where the church provides volunteer mentors to go into the school and spend one hour per week with a child who needs some extra care and support through a one-to-one mentoring relationship. NewHope partners with Kerrimuir Primary School, and they are always on the lookout for more mentors to assist some of their students in such a simple and tangible way.
KIDS HOPE AUS mentors are the heart and soul of this life changing program.
One church and one school, one mentor and one student, one hour a week. If you have an hour to spare each week and believe you could help a disadvantaged child by being their friend and mentor, please contact the NewHope Kids Hope Co-ordinators Peter and Viv Siede.
